My theory is that fiction books are even more useful for an artist, than the art books. While reading you unconsciously visualize the described scenes in your own unique way, interpret the events and explore new ideas, thereby 👉 training the imagination and developing your own worldview 👁️

Fun thing is that when I look at a piece I often remember the audiobook I was listening to while painting. For example while creating Chroma Key it was definitely The Golem by Meyrink 💚
