I have had a few art lessons over the years, but at this point…I’m not even sure which is the right brush to use or how to explain how I do what I do (LOL)! I just paint! I suppose that I can thank my beautiful mom who was so talented and artsy…and of course… I can thank God. My colorful acrylic paintings best describe ME! They show you who I am and how I feel on any given day. I was raised in Louisiana and have lived in Florida for the last 30 years. You can see a little of the southern culture from each of those states in my work, which includes jazz players, fleur di lis, crabs and oysters, colorful flowers, fish and wild color! I try to paint a little of everything. My acrylic paintings bring me lots of joy. I hope that they make you smile too. CathyK
